Before you can get it on in the deep blue sea, you need to understand that there are some risks involved in underwater sex. First of all, you need some scuba diving experience before you can gear up and get it on. Secondly, some people get caught up in the excitement of underwater sex, which could cause your scuba diving equipment to malfunction. Also, be sure that your scuba gear is tightly strapped! Having your dive tank or mask slip off and float away could really put a dampener on your lovemaking.  Basically, before you descend for an underwater sex session, be sure that both you and your partner are in good physical condition and that your scuba gear is also up to the job.

Now that you’ve covered all the safety requirements of having underwater sex, it’s time to learn what exactly you can do down there – again, no pun intended!

Basic Underwater Sex Positions

The most basic underwater sex position you can do is having the woman on top while you’re lying, on your back, at the bottom of the sea. Make sure you find a spot with a sandy bottom as any coral could cause very sharp injuries!  Also, make sure you’re not wearing wet suits as it will be really hard to get them off down in the water. 

Another position you can do is called scissoring. It involves both divers spreading their legs wide open and then interlocking them, which looks like two pairs of scissors joined together.

The third position involves the man coming from behind the girl. It’s easy, it feels good, and allows both of you to enjoy the great underwater view! Just be sure that the girl has something to hold on to, otherwise you will push her away from you!

Underwater Sex in the Maldives

The Maldives is a Muslim country and as such, public sex and nudity is not only frowned upon, but also punishable by law.  You should understand that if you engage in underwater sex in the Maldives, or any form of public sex, you can get into a lot of trouble.  These rules also extend to nude sunbathing, even on your room’s private terrace, so be careful and respect the laws of the Maldives, you are their guest, after all.
