To celebrate their opening, Shangri-La is offering two affordable introductory packages until October 31, 2009. Guests staying for three nights will be rewarded with a fourth night free and those staying for seven nights will only pay for five. Accommodation at the Shangri-La Villingili starts at USD860 a night which includes the 70-minute flight from Male, the capital of Maldives and the entry point for visitors, to the Gan airport and then the eight-minute boat ride to the resort. The boat ride itself is something that no one should miss. You will see the sky blue waters and the rainbow-coloured coral reefs!
