The Madivaru Corner is an excellent site for spotting rays and hammerhead sharks. It is also one of the most visited dive sites in the Rasdhoo Atoll

Description: The Madivaru Corner is one of the highlights in the Rasdhoo Atoll. Located at the entrance of the Madivaru Channel, this reef has some spectacular overhangs between 26 to 30 meters that come before a breathtaking drop-off. This is an ideal site for shark fans. Hammerhead sharks emerge in big numbers just before sunrise, swimming in large groups. Dolphins, dogtooth tunas along with schools of black snappers are seen at the reef edge during the early hours. Divers also get an opportunity to view white tip reef sharks, little tunas, jacks, napoleon wrasses and barracudas when diving at an ideal time.
