The Vadoo House Reef

The Vadoo House Reef is a very enjoyable and easy dive with large quantities of small fishes

Location: Medhu-Uthuru Province, South Male Atoll, Maldives

Experience: Intermediate

Maximum Depth: 20 meters

Average Visibility: 25 meters

Currents: Moderate

Access: Boat

Marine Life: Sweetlips, wrasses, reef fish, sand eels, rays, lionfish

Description: The dive starts at a depth around 10 meters then it descends down past some large and amazing coral heads which serve as a home to many small fishes. At a depth of 20 meters, a few large clams could be found at a sandy sea bed that lies beneath. A moderate current combined with a steep wall face provides an enjoyable drift dive in this reef. Lots of interesting fish could be found in the area including wrasses and eels.
